NFL Week 7 Pick'em Predictions

Alright, I've been doling out some pretty solid fantasy football advice, I have to say. So I'm going to take that as a consolation for having another pretty crap week in Week 6 at pick'em. 52-38 is not sexy.

Jordan and I disagree on a couple of games this week, so lets check them out:

Bears vs Bucs. Game is in London, should be windy, probably rainy. Bucs still without Blount, Bears still without an offensive line. I think the Bears are going to win this one, but all I can pretty much guarantee is that this one will be pretty sloppy.

Broncos vs Dolphins. I'm not sold on Tebow as an elite fantasy quarterback like nearly everyone else is. But I am definitely not sold on him as a starting NFL quarterback. Sure he could run for a score, but we can see in games past that Miami is losing games because they struggle against the pass. And Denver is rocking a quarterback who can't exactly do that very well. Dolphins win their first at home.

Titans vs Texans. Take your pick really. I like the Texans this week. Not sure why, just a hometeam advantage I'm sure. Hoping Schaub finally makes a mark with a receiver with Andre Johnson gone for a while.

Chargers vs Jets. Sanchez had something like 20 yards passing in the first half of the last game against Miami. Chargers > Dolphins. I really like Malcolm Floyd as a fantasy option in this game.

I went Cowboys with my guarantee pick. Ravens, Saints, Steelers also good options.

  1. Ok, last week I was away on a trip to NY (went to my first football game ever) and now I'm back for my upset comment of the week. Trying to keep my perfect scoring.

This week my pick has to be the Redskins over Panthers.
John Beck is going to revitalize that offense (ok, that sounds crazy now)

  2. Part of me really wants to change my pick to this now before the kickoffs.

Youve been on a damn roll.

  3. Crap, my Cinderella story came to an end.
Guess I've pushed too far betting on a Snyder's team.

Hopefully I can get back on track on week 8.

On the bright side, when I pick bad the winning team I do better on players picking. Won 4 of my 5 leagues this week.

But in 2 of them I'm 2-5, so not many hopes on those leagues.

  4. 2-5 is still doable. Youve just got to win out. Remember the goal isnt first place. Doesnt matter who finishes first place. Its all about making the playoffs.

  5. Yeah, I'll try hard no matter what.

But in one league my team is doomed because they favor QBs a lot and I don't particularly have great ones (I didn't pay attention to that before the draft - rookie mistake, I know).

On the other one I still have a remote shot.
I just have so many losses because I had an incredible bad luck in the first 5 weeks.
    My team is:
    Eli Manning
    Steve Smith
    V Jax
    Mario Manningham
    Adrian Petterson
    Steven Jax
    Antonio Gates
    Dan Bailey
    Seattle DEF (SDS)
    Bench:
Christian Ponder (just dropped Matt Ryan)
    Nate Washington
    James Jones
    David Nelson
    Jonathan Stewart
    Brandon Pettigrew

    Not bad at all.
I can win out if I choose my starting players wisely.

On the 3 other leagues I'm in good shape.

  6. This is a good team. Definitely some bad luck if you are having problems with them. Should be able to make the playoffs here.
