Week 14 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday

Damn Ravens sucked it up last week against a third string quarterback. Count that as another loss in the elimination challenge. Fun stuff. If you made it that far though, chances are you already have fat pockets though.

Looking to rebound from a 9-7 week this week. I think it can be done. Things get interesting when the playoff hunt kicks off. Should be a couple teams playing spoiler this week.

Upsets: I like Cowboys going into Cincy and keeping their hopes alive. I also like the Vikings to spoil the Bears run a bit. Jaguars over Jets.

Locks: I havent gone with the Seahawks, so they are my play at home. I would imagine the Colts be a decent pick here, as are the Bucs, Steelers and 49ers. But shit happens.

Week 13 Pick'em and Fantasy Survival

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday

Why couldn't I have been picking like this all year. Survival right again, if it wasnt for the god-forsaken Week 2 Patriots I'd still be in this garbage. 12 right again this week. Let's see if we can do it again.

I'm relatively nervous about how many away teams that I have winning today. But this year it seems that home field advantage is relatively minimal. We'll see when it all goes down.

Upset favorites: I don't know why no one is giving the new-look Jaguars any love. They haven't looked like complete trash, but still less than 15% of people are picking them over the equally depressing Bills. I like the Colts to lose to the Lions, who will be massive spoilers from here on out. Also the Raiders beat the Browns. And even though I didn't officially pick it. Either the Broncos or Texans will lose this week. I'm pretty bold, I know.

Locks:Starting to get dicey for survival. I haven't played the Ravens yet, so I'm taking them at home against the Steelers. Also locking the Bears, Panthers, Patriots and Cowboys

Week 12 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday

Last week was relatively simple. 12 of 14. That was also the average on ESPN. Pretty nuts. Broke the 100 point mark and gearing up with some upsets this week in hope to boost that number.

Upset favorites: I like the Browns at home against the Pittsburgh Backups. Also rolling with the Jaguars who look like a brand new team since taking out the trash. Rams beat the Cards as well. This week I'm calling for an upset party... Bills over Colts. Phins over Seahawks. Chargers over Ravens. I have a problem.

Locks: Broncos lasted this long in my poll, makes me quite happy. Bengals should be good to go.

Week 12 Fantasy Football Position Rankings

Now is as good a time as any to put in my picks for the games tomorrow.

None should come as any surprise.

Texans.
Cowboys.
Patriots.

Of the three, Patriots would be my team to lock.

Onto the rankings.

Week 11 Pickem and Survial Predictions

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday

Tie last week was a bit nuts. So I suppose we all get one in the tie column.

This week is looking pretty crazy. Going to ESPN or Yahoo and looking at the consensus picks, everything seems to be pretty laid out. Lots of picks are more than 90%. So this week seems straightforward. Which is dangerous.

Upset favorites: Had the Dolphins over the Bills. We know how that turned out. I don't really have any upsets this week. I'm going straightforward. My favorites that might surprise are the Jets or Chargers.

Locks: Saved the Saints so I'm using them now. Cowboys, Packers, Bengals, Texans, Pats, Ravens, 49ers all seem like sure things to me too.

Week 10 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday

10-4 last week. Back on a bit of a roll. Pretty excited about it.

Should be an interesting week. About half the games are locks and the other half look to close to call. We'll see how it turns out.

Upset favorites: My biggest upset pick is the Bengals over the Giants. They're at home, Giants just lost one. Its a hell of a stretch, but I think it could happen. I'm also pulling for the Texans over the Bears. It is pretty ridiculous when predicting that the Bears defense won't score a touchdown is bold.

Locks: The Colts got my pick Thursday night. Also locking the Patriots, Broncos, Ravens, Seahawks, 49ers and Steelers.

Week 9 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday.

Not great, not terrible last week. Looks like there are a lot of locks today. So hopefully thats a good sign for everyone's pickem numbers.

I'm also going to need everyone's opinion on the Redskins' helmets today. I'm a fan

Upset favorites: Dolphins can come out on top of Colts. And I actually like the Cowboys to give the Falcons their first loss. Almost wanted to pick the Panthers as well. But didn't. Because I'm not a dummy.

Locks: Lions get my pick. Happy I have saved them. Also locking the Ravens, Packers, Bears and Texans. Yeah, thats how I roll.

Week 8 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

As always: the best way to reach me with late questions is via Twitter. Just add @godhateslosers and I'll get you all the way up to gameday.

So, the bad news this week is that there are a lot of people already listed as "Out," meaning that there are likely a lot of backups making starting lineups this week. The good news is that because they are already Out, there are really not that many players who are Questionable this week. Lots less stress as far as picking who to play. So that's good I suppose.

One more housekeeping note... There's this exciting hurricane, "perfect storm" scenario happening off the northeast coast. This will effect mostly those playing in the Atlanta vs. Philly game and the Miami vs NY Jets game. So, I'm dropping a handful of players in my rankings. I have pulled all of my kickers who are playing there this week: Bryant, Folk primarily. Also, Matt Ryan and Michael Vick fell in my rankings. They are still pretty startworthy though. But winds of 20-30 mph should make things interesting. If you had Tannehill or Sanchez starting for you in the first place, well, may God have mercy on your team.

Onto the rankings. 12-1 last week. Swept all the Sunday daytime games. Pretty proud of myself. But, learning from recent history, that likely means I'll get roughly four game correct this week. Such is life.

Upset favorites: Goal for this week was picking mostly home teams since a lot of these seem to be toss-ups. But that wasnt the case in the end. Upset picks are Lions over Seahawks, Cowboys over Giants, Saints over Broncos. I also thought really hard about the Dolphins beating the Jets.

Locks: Survival pick goes to the Packers. Bears should also take one pretty easy. Same with the Niners.

Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings.

Almost halfway through the season, I'm preparing to be a bit more post heavy next week as I lay out some rest-of-season stuff and some mid-year awards. Hope you all enjoy.

Here are the rankings for this week. I like a lot of wide receiver sleepers this week, who knows. I'm also kinda killing it in the quarterback rankings, for the record.

Week 7 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

And... I follow up a great week with an awful one. I guess thats what I get for bragging. Time to get back to it. Hopefully this week is better.

As far as answering questions this weekend: Its gonna have to be through Twitter. I'll be able to answer anything you have before kickoff, as long as you send it to @godhateslosers You know what to do.

Upset favorites: I'm liking the Titans to win in Buffalo. And... thats about it. Bengals over Steelers also is a bit against the grain. I was super close to saying that the Packers lose again on the road, but I think I'll stick with them.

Locks: Giants should be a lock. Same with the Cowboys who are my survival pick. Patriots should handle the Jets, it would help if every player wasn't somehow injured though.
