GAMEDAY!

Three hours to kickoff. And you lucky kids have me for all of them.

Post any last minute questions here or on Twitter @godhateslosers.

I'll be updating everyone on injury outlooks through Twitter today. So far... Pierre Garcon is looking like a no go. Follow GHL and get the latest updates.

  2. He's the later game. I would imagine that he plays though. Hopefully they announce it before one and it doesnt become a game time decision.

Everything that I have read is looking like he will go though.

  3. Hey GHL! Should i still roll with Maclin today, take a chance on Britt, or go for the hail mary with Andrew Hawkins? I have D. Thomas and T Smith also playing. It is a ppr league. Thanks! Oh and I am not scared to roll with Hawkins, if you think the other two will be hampered with injuries and coming back.

  4. Maclin will play, but I have my doubts. Britt will be very limited.

Hawkins is a huge risk, but could end up PPR gold if he continues to be targeted like that.

Hard for me to tell you that Hawkins is the best guy, because all the stats lean the other way. If you are confident that you have the better team though at other positions, I would say go for it. Take the risk on the sleepr.

  5. If Garcon is a no-go, do I start Gresham, LaFell, Titus Young, or Michael Floyd in his place? My other two WR are White and Harvin...Thanks!

  6. How do you like this potential trade? Someone in my league has stated interest in getting a WR because he feels he is weak there and strong at RB. Of his RBs I would go after MJD. Do you think offering Greg Jennings for MJD is a fair trade by itself or should I try to bundle up some other players as well? Currently I have Jennings, Julio Jones, Percy Harvin, Robert Meachem, Nate Washington, DHB, and Titus Young. For RBs I have Jamaal Charles, Doug Martin, Darren Sproles, Kevin Smith, and Mark Ingram.
He has MJD, S. Greene, Trent Richardson, David Wilson, Daniel Thomas, and Ronnie Brown as his RBs.
    What would be your suggestion?

Also, is Titus Young worth holding on to with his apparent attitude problems?

  7. Ended up starting Gresham over LaFell..oops. Came away with the W anyway thanks to Vick and Rice late in their game..still have Roddy White to go tonight too so no harm done.

My OTHER team, though, is a DISGRACE. I have Matt Ryan going tonight, but here's the rest of my team:

    RB: CJ (2pts), McFadden (3pts)
    WR: Marshall (2pts), Colston (4pts)
TE: Gates (0pts..obviously as a late scratch)
    FLEX: Maclin (8pts)
    DEF: Bengals (10pts!!!)
    K: Cundiff (3pts)

Thirty...two...points. Yikes. 0-2 in this league now, ugh.

  8. Hi GHL,

I lost again.. this time because of J.Cutler & J.Finley :( unlucky week.. If I have to choose three from the below group of WRs most likely for my bye week corps who would you recommend? please prioritize..
    1. Andrew Hawkins
    2. Robert Meachem (he is in waiver)
    3. Donnie Avery
    4. Alshon Jeffery
    5. Brain Hartline
    6. Devon Bess

And for week 3 do you like Shonne Greene vs Pit or Andre Brown vs Carolina (Thursday Game)?

  9. F.Davis is worth a pick from waiver? I already have J.Finley in my roster..

  10. He's not looking so hot this year. But I think he'll pick things up. Might be good to have him on your bench if you have room.
