Trades, Injuries and Changes Shake Up Fantasy Football Rosters **updated

**updated: Detroit Lions acquire running back Ronnie Brown

For the past five weeks it seems that we have had to shake up our fantasy football rosters and rankings based on the weekly injuries constantly hitting NFL teams. Well, we seem to be alleviated from that this week, but faced with a delightful set of new problems. Rather than a host of unwanted injuries, we now get to modify our rosters based on a delightful combination of injuries, trades and replacements.

Let’s start from West to East.

NFL Week 4 Injury Updates

Here are some last minute updates.

If you have any last questions, go ahead and address them. I will be watching the Cowboys game and likely will be busy pacing and screaming to answer any late questions.

Out:
Antonio Gates
Aaron Hernandez
Miles Austin
Ryan Grant
Danny Amendola
Daniel Thomas
Earl Bennett

Playing:
Marques Colston
Dez Bryant
Frank Gore (Kendall Hunter is getting the start. I like Kendall better than Gore)
Laurent Robinson (starting for the Cowboys this week, if you are desperate, get him)
Felix Jones
Arian Foster
Peyton Hillis (though I have lost all respect for the man)
Steven Jackson (should be good to go from here on out, or at least til his next injury)
Jeremy Maclin (won't be 100 percent)

Week 1 Injury Updates

Seahawks' Syndey Rice out. Obomanu and Mike Williams starting for Seahawks. Neither are great plays, but if you are hurting, then they might be worth a start.

Chicago's Marion Barber out. If this affects your starting lineup, then you have bigger problems.

Giants' Justin Tuck looks positive to play. Hurts all Redskins starters even more.

Dallas Cowboys' Terrance Newman out. Jenkins questionable. With both starting Cowboys cornerback either hurt or missing, stock for Plaxico Burress and Santonio Holmes rise.

Arian Foster likely out. I took him out of my starting lineup. Ward and Tate will likely split carries, so it is hard to be confident about one or the other. Indy does have a poor run defense, so both could get starts for you. Just do it with caution.

Expert League Draft Results

Earlier this month I posted the first round results of the Expert league that I am in with some other fantasy football sites and writers. I was the final pick in this 12-team draft, which was not a very good spot when you are surrounded by people who really know what they are doing.

Overall, I think I did a decent job. Very week at RB, and since the draft, 2 of my guys have been injured. Let me know what you think.

We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 1 ST
ST includes the kicker and return yardage of the team you choose.

Rd 1) Calvin Johnson
2) Rashard Mendenhall
3) DeSean Jackson
4) Drew Brees
5) Kenny Britt
6) Marques Colston* (Injured)
7) Mike Tolbert
8) Joseph Addai
9) Johnny Knox
10) Zach Miller
11) LaDainian Tomlinson
12) Joe Flacco
13) Detroit Lions Defense
14) Rashard Jennings (Currently a waiver to drop him and add Isaac Redman)
15) Steve Breaston
16) Kevin Boss (Currently a waiver to drop him and add Devery Henderson)
17) Houston Texans Special Teams
18) Jerome Simpson

So there we are. Not terrible, not great.
