Week 7 Fantasy Pick'em and Survival

And... I follow up a great week with an awful one. I guess thats what I get for bragging. Time to get back to it. Hopefully this week is better.

As far as answering questions this weekend: Its gonna have to be through Twitter. I'll be able to answer anything you have before kickoff, as long as you send it to @godhateslosers You know what to do.

Upset favorites: I'm liking the Titans to win in Buffalo. And... thats about it. Bengals over Steelers also is a bit against the grain. I was super close to saying that the Packers lose again on the road, but I think I'll stick with them.

Locks: Giants should be a lock. Same with the Cowboys who are my survival pick. Patriots should handle the Jets, it would help if every player wasn't somehow injured though.

Is Mike Williams a Weekly Must-Start?

Is Dez Bryant always in your starting lineup? What about Andre Johnson? Brandon Lloyd? Antonio Brown? Steve Smith, maybe?

If you answered yes any of these questions, then I pose another to you: What do all of these players have in common?

Answer: They all have fewer fantasy points this season than Buccaneer WR Mike Williams.

As a matter of fact, Williams is tied with Miles Austin, Julio Jones, Eric Decker and Larry Fitzgerald with 9.8 fantasy points per game (standard), good for 16th at the wide receiver position. Yet, of every name I have listed so far, Williams is the only one who is not owned in 100% of all fantasy leagues. He is owned in 54%.

So now the question becomes: “Should a player tied for 16th in the NFL in points make your fantasy starting lineup?” I simply answer, “Yes, yes he should.”

Week 6 GHL Fantasy Pick'em and Predictions

Alright! Now we're on a roll picking these games. Two week in a row with more than 10 wins. I like it, I like it. Let's see if I can make it three for three.

As far as answering questions this weekend: Its gonna have to be through Twitter. I'll be able to answer anything you have before kickoff, as long as you send it to @godhateslosers You know what to do.

Upset favorites: I've got a handful of them this week. Going with the gut a lot here. I like the Rams over the Phins, Lions over the Eagles, Cowboys over the Ravens (so sue me, I never pick against my Cowboys), Chargers over Broncos... And I'm going to say that the Bills can go into Arizona and steal a win. You heard it here first.

Locks: Falcons are the big lock for me. They are my survival pick this week. I think the Bengals should win, Colts look good. And I'd call the Pats a lock this week as well.

Week 5 Pick'em and Predictions

Big leap forward last week. Feeling good about this one too. Things are starting to come along pretty nicely. Not expectedly, but at least we are figuring out what new to expect each game.

As far as answering questions this weekend: Its gonna have to be through Twitter. And you are gonna have to get them to me by early tomorrow morning. Got a couple vacation plans, going out of town and I should get them on my phone through Twitter. @godhateslosers You know what to do.

Upset favorites: Seahawks over Panthers, Chargers over Saints... embarrassingly close to liking the Titans to beat the Vikings, but I used my better judgement

Locks: Scarily, it seems like a lot of them. Giants are my pick. Then of course you have the Texans, Ravens, Packers, Bengals, Bears

GHL Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings

New week. And its looking like things are starting to even out. Those who we thought to be good are finally playing that way. Thank God. We have a few injury concerns pushing people up and adding a lot of question marks. WR for both NY squads is something pretty exciting to look at. And Mendy will see his first action.

If you've got your questions, nows the time to ask them.

Enjoy Week Five

GHL Week 4 Pick'em and Survival Predictions

Alright. Here's the story. I've got a new gig. It takes up a ton of my time. I still think I'm doing alright though. I will continue doing my best getting to all of your questions. If it is an urgent one, or I havent responded to you, the best way to reach me is Twitter, so I can answer from my phone.

Twitter is @godhateslosers. If you don't have Twitter, its a pretty great fantasy football tool, you can reach me and other fantasy experts. Get live injury updates from the guys at NFL.com or ESPN. Its great. Promise.

Here's the pick'em that was, again, pretty unforgiving. Didn't exactly kill it last week. But I've got good feelings about this week. I do.

Upsets: Chiefs over Chargers... Bucs over Redskins... Eagles over Giants
Locks: Seems like theres a lot of them: 49ers, Falcons, Texans, Bengals... But I've learned that there is no such thing as a lock this year.

GHL Week 4 Position Rankings

Another fun week. And by that I mean, completely absurd. At least now we kind of have a handle on the defenses. Which ones are good against the run. Which ones are terrible against the pass. And so on and so forth.

I'm just happy to announce that I am a far better player ranker than I am a pick 'em predictor this year. Another rough week on that front.

Without further ado, here's my weekly rankings.
