Fantasy Football Week 6 Position Rankings

Week 6 Position Rankings
A little bit upset to see that we are already over a third of the way through this fantasy season. So far so good on this end. Hope that these weekly rankings are getting the job done for everyone.
Got a handful of wide receiver sleepers since they seem to be popping up every week. I have a feeling about Torrey Smith this week. Same goes for Michael Crabtree, Antonio Brown and Greg Little. I am finally sold that Victor Cruz is pretty legit. As long as Eli keeps going deep with it, Cruz will put up numbers.
Running back, as usual has a pretty sharp drop off. I would expect Felix Jones to put up a good show. It is going to be interesting to watch some backups play this week with Earnest Graham likely getting a lot of the work with Blount out, and a likely split between Delone Carter and Donald Brown with Addai out.
As always, feel free to post any questions or comments you have on this post in preparation for this weekend’s faceoffs. Also, let me know if you have any great sleeper picks or see anyone that I left off the list.

2011 Fantasy Football Week 5 Rankings

We're already into Week 5 of the NFL season, and onto another weekly position ranking. And, as has been a theme this year, we are seeing a lot of sleepers and backups cracking starters lists due to injuries.

Here are some highlights from the list below:

1) With games like Carolina/New Orleans, Detroit/Chicago, Green Bay/Atlanta, San Diego/Denver, New York Jets/New England, I think we can expect to see a ton of shootouts for a huge scoring weekend. Expect a lot of big numbers out of quarterbacks and receivers.

2) Arian Foster returns to his rightful spot in the top three running backs. I like him best this week as the Andre Johnson-less Texans hosts the Raiders.

3) Continuing on the Houston theme. It's hard to call which Houston receiver will be getting most of the work. For my money though, I think tight end Owen Daniels is the guy to watch.

4) I like at least one Jets running back to have a big week with New England hurting up front and at linebacker. Whether it is Shonn Greene or LT, I'm not so sure. I'd love to see Tomlinson get most of the snaps though.

5) Patriots' RB Ridley looked nice, but I still have BJGE higher, as does the New England depth chart. The safe bet is to play Welker as he is a monster this year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Revis moving inside to cover him. This could open up some sleeper potential for Deion Branch and other NE wideouts. Gronkowski should have no problems.

Working on another post going in to some sleepers and predictions, so stay tuned for that.

As always, if you've got any questions or comments (or if I left someone obvious out) post it all in the comments.

2011 Week 2 Fantasy Football Position Rankings

It is time again for the Weekly Position Rankings. We are going to be predicting the top performers at each position for Week 2 of the NFL. We are dealing with a lot more injuries than we were in week one. Lots of guys listed as questionable, so keep an eye on them. (Hakeem Nicks, Arian Foster, Dez Bryant, etc.) Make those adjustments when necessary
As always, if I left someone off that you think should be on there, please let me know. I will be posting an advice time article tomorrow, but feel free to start posting you line-up questions here.
Away we go!

2011 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings

As promised, today marks the very first position rankings on the new God Hates Losers website. When making a draft board, I always run a couple of fantasy football mock drafts to get a feel for when people are going. I also bump up a few of my own sleepers. And more importantly, rather than having one large board of players, I break them up into positions and then schedule my draft with which position I’m going to take in which round. I don't think it’s nearly as complicated as I just made it sound.

Without further confusion, I present to you my 2011 Pre-Draft, Pre-Season Quarterback Position Rankings:
